Shaun Gagnon founded Cambridge Risk Advisors in 2021 and has been the President and Managing Partner of Cambridge Insurance Advisors since 2016. His main focus lies in the areas of HR & employee benefits, executive benefits, private client risk management and insurance strategy, as well as due diligence for Companies and Financial Sponsors.
Prior to joining Cambridge, Shaun ran an early-stage venture fund for his family focusing on early stage investments within Blockchain, Technology and Consumer Goods. He also had a distinguished career in both retail insurance consulting and wholesale consulting for several leading National Firms.
Shaun entered financial services in 2005 after completing his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College, where he played both varsity hockey and football and was chosen as captain of the football team his senior year.
Shaun is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Connecticut Venture Group, Society of Human Resources Management, Connecticut Business and Industry Associations Small Business Advisory board, and is a partner with Social Venture Partners. Shaun also serves on several corporate advisory boards.
Shaun and his wife, Natalie, live in Westport, CT, with their daughters, Olivia and Emma, and their son, Jack.
