As partner-in-charge of the firm’s employee benefits group, Arthur Grutt provides clients with comprehensive insurance advice. Art earned a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of Business at UPenn and IFEBP. CEBS is considered the standard of excellence in the benefits industry.
Art was elected president of the CEBS NY Chapter in 2012 and served as a board member since 2007 acting as vice president, treasurer, secretary, and chair of the education committee.
Art’s practice focuses on creative insurance planning for both corporations and individuals. Areas of expertise include life insurance, executive benefits, and retirement planning. Art has lectured at the Group Underwriters Association of America as well as for many industry groups. Prior to joining Cambridge, Art had a distinguished career at Guardian Life Insurance Company of America.
Art graduated from The College of the Holy Cross with two undergraduate degrees in both economics and English. While playing quarterback for the varsity football team, he also made The Patriot League Football Academic Honor Roll.
Art actively participates in the Holy Cross mentorship program, Summer Internship Program, and the New York Leadership Council.
Art and his wife Donna live in Morristown, NJ, with their daughters, Liliana, Brielle, and Scarlett.
