Overview
Formed in 1989, Cambridge is an independent insurance brokerage providing coverage and consultation to over 1,700 businesses and individuals. Although insurance planning can be an intimidating process, we educate our clients so they can make informed decisions on how best to protect themselves and their families. Partners of the Firm
Richard B. Lehrer
Richard (Rick) Lehrer is the founding Partner of the Cambridge Organization in 1989. In his capacity as President, he works with both corporate and individual clients in developing insurance plans and strategies. Areas of expertise include Life insurance, Long Term Care, Business Succession, Employee Benefits and retirement needs. Under his direction, the firm has grown to over 1,700 clients ranging from large corporations, small business and individuals.
Arthur T. Grutt, Jr.
As Partner-in-Charge of the firm's Employee Benefits Group, Arthur Grutt provides clients with comprehensive insurance advice. Art earned a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and IFEBP. CEBS is considered the standard of excellence in the benefits industry. Art served as Vice President of the CEBS NY Chapter in 2011 and has been a Board Member since 2007 serving as Chair of Education, Fundamentals, Secretary and Treasurer.
